About the event
September is National Bourbon Hertiage Month and we're celebrating by featuring Old Forester, the longest running bourbon brand in the US.
Established in 1870, Old Forrester's founder George Garvin Brown is responsible for a key bourbon invention: he became the first to sell bourbon in a bottle rather than a barrel.
In this class we will learn about the history and flavor of three different expressions of Old Forester. Gwen Kinsella, Marketing Manager for Brown-Forman is returning to walk us through 3 half ounce pours of Old Forrester, each accompanied with light fare created by our General Manager, Shannon.
This event starts at 6 p.m. Barrel 9 will open for attendees at 4:30 p.m. with a limited menu and cocktails available for purchase.
Tickets are $35 per person, 35 slots available.
